SECONDARY CARE

iPLATO works with many secondary care organisations including Hospitals and Mental Health Trusts on improving access to healthcare services through smart technology enabled solutions. iPLATO programmes in secondary care have proven to radically improve performance in the areas of Did-Not-Attend rates, patient satisfaction and access to health information.

Our end-to-end solution delivery capability allows us to deliver specialised solution components such as project planning and project management, as well as technology customisation and training.

PHARMACEUTICAL

iPLATO works with pharmaceutical companies in two different ways. Firstly, pharmaceutical companies directly fund mobile consumer health services such as iPLATO’s Malaria Service which is a part of GSK Travel Health’s Malaria Awareness Campaign. In these initiatives, pharmaceutical companies use iPLATO’s expertise in designing, launching and operating mobile consumer health services to increase the awareness of specific conditions.

Secondly, pharmaceutical companies will sometimes act as the funding partner for trials designed and operated by specialist healthcare providers and iPLATO. Most of these trials aim to increase the knowledge base for using mobile phone technology as a complement to existing methods of treatment, with a view to improving outcomes.
