Product Manager - London

iPLATO Healthcare LTD, is a leading company developing and providing innovative technology solutions to the healthcare sector.  As Product Manager, you will establish the product management function, bringing experience, structure and an analytical approach to the way this company defines and develops its suite of applications. Based on ideas and feedback from company management, account managers, developers, customers and industry/legislation you will be responsible for recommending and, subsequently, implementing the iPLATO product development plan.

In a strategic role reporting directly to Company Directors you will have the complete responsibility for the product roadmap including commercial, strategic and technical aspects of enhancing and developing existing and future products. It will require a hands-on approach and necessitate taking ownership of product management as well as maintaining a close relationship with the company’s technology development team.

 We are seeking young, bright and ambitious individuals with managerial experience but who are still hands-on. The ideal candidate will bring proficiency in product design, technical architecture definition and project management as well as technical experience from the software and/or telecommunications sectors. To fit into a fast growing environment you need to be entrepreneurial, communicative, flexible and energetic.

  We are looking for unique candidates that can speak both the business and technical languages fluently, and are passionate about technical project management and creative problem solving. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and recommend a product development strategy based on feedback from various stakeholders and company priorities. Anticipate changes in the technology and competitive landscape to ensure the evolution of the product roadmap.
  • Lead the execution of our product including but not limited to definition of features, choice of technology platforms, integration partners, and third party relationships.
  • Working throughout the development lifecycle to oversee research and development, gather requirements, design appropriate solutions to meet these and manage the development team through project delivery.
  • Identify and address issues relating to the performance of our products.
  • Delivering multiple development projects on time and to specification, managing resource utilisation and recruiting further staff where necessary.
  • Support product marketing in areas such as such as product pricing, positioning and development of marketing collaterals.
  • Act as the technical product expert in pre-sales. 
  • Maintain a complete understanding of the company’s services and products.
  • Management reporting.

 Required skills: 

  • 5+ years in a senior product management and/or project development position managing complex technological development projects with a track record of successfully transferring software products from R&D into scalable solutions.
  • Ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps.
  • A first rate communicator, it is essential that you have excellent planning skills and experience of writing process or technical documentation/instructions.
  • A strong technical background, ideally with advanced understanding of Java, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Flash, AJAX, MySQL and related web and mobile technologies.
  • Attention to detail and absolute focus on quality of work.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK and sometimes abroad.

Sales Support Administrator - London

iPLATO Healthcare LTD, a leading company developing and providing ‘telehealth’ solutions for the healthcare sector, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a small but rapidly expanding team. You’ll be working closely with the account management team to help clients manage the setup, training and use of the company’s flagship product, Patient Care Messaging.

This role will offer the right candidate an exceptional opportunity to develop existing skills and learn new ones. This is a proactive role that will require a friendly outgoing individual with an excellent telephone manner.

The ideal applicant will be super organised, driven, able to take own initiative and make quick decisions, work well under pressure and comfortable in dealing with multiple projects in a demanding environment. Excellent multitasking ability, interpersonal and communication skills and, an eye for detail are essential. Ideally you should have administrative experience in a busy environment. You will have IT competency, excellent attention to detail, good communication skills but most of all enthusiasm and positive attitude. You will be expected to be flexible and help out with a wide variety of customer orientated as well as administrative tasks.
